This is a success guide for becoming a top rated seller on fiverr from start to finish.
INTRODUCTION
Fiverr is a marketplace where users buy and sell products and
services worth $ 5. There are many sites similar to Fiverr. Fiverr
users provide a wide range of services and products. If you look
closely, you’ll find plenty of options for things you need on a
regular basis, or websites and blogs.
The first thing to get started on fiverr is to join the network by
visiting their website http://www.fiverr.com and click on Join and
enter your email address.
After clicking on continue, you will have to enter your username and
password. Here you can select any username and password of your
choice and then click on join. Please note that immediately you click
on join, a verification link will be sent to your email box, so you have
to login to click on the verification link before you can continue with
your fiverr business.
Just click on the mark sign at the top of the page which is also called
‘to do’ sign that is what fiverr expects you to do.
After clicking on the mark sign[to do],it will display the three tasks a
new seller on fiverr must fulfil.
The first task is to set a security question. You will be asked to
provide the answer to your security question whenever you want to
withdraw money or change your password so put an answer you will
remember.
The second task is the most important but let us look at task number
three which is where you will have to upload your photo and write
something good about yourself. Everyone knows that a profile is
where we have information about ourselves like the when you started
internet business, the packages you are into and so on. After
completing number three task then go back to number two and click
on create. This is where you will create the service you are rendering
on fiverr.
When you click on create a gig ,it will display the page
where you will have to create the service you are
rendering starting with the title of the gig.
NOTE:A gig is a piece of information you are giving out
for 5 dollars.

Where you see the gig title in the above image, put the title of the
material you want to sell to people on fiverr i.e. ‘I will teach you how
to create a website in 60 minutes: Please note that the ‘I will’ is
constant so you just complete the sentence.
The second is category: Select the category where your gig falls
maybe under business,marketing and so on.Your discretion is
required here.
The third is gig gallery: Everyone knows that gallery is where you
find pictures on your phone so gig gallery is where you are required to
upload a picture that relates to the gig you are publishing.Just go to
google.com and get one.Please note that the required size is 700 by
500 but if fiverr doesn’t accept the one you are uploading directly
from google,you can resize it using the software called
realworldpaint.com
The fourth is description:This is where you have to briefly describe
what you are selling. You can read the materials and bring out the
interesting part as a description.
The fifth is TAGS: These are keywords related to your Gig. These are
important because they help classify your Gig.
The sixth is duration:This is where you are going to choose when you which to
deliver your gig,that is, how many days will it take you to deliver?Always
choose 1 day if you are uploading ebooks but you can select up to 3 days if
you are creating a service like designing a website for someone and so on.
The seventh is the instructions for buyer: Don’t bother to write anything here
so move to the next page.
Then click on save and continue.The page below will appear.
You can click on add gig extra to create an extra service that is related to the
main gig you are uploading like telling the buyer to pay an additional money
for a special service you which to render along side with the gig you want to
deliver to him or her.For instance, instead of selling only a material on how to
design a website in 60 minutes,you can as well create an extra gig of
designing the website for your buyers while they go to sleep but remember
that you need to charge them more.
In case you don’t have an extra gig to create, just click on skip and the page
below will appear
This is where you are required to upload a video because people believe what
they hear from your mouth than seeing ordinary pictures.You can use your
phone or camera to create 5 minutes video and then upload about the gig you
are creating but make sure that you have already gone through the material
you are giving out to your buyers.The video is just a quick summary of the
reasons why people must purchase your gig.
If you do not have a video to upload at the moment, just click on skip and the
page below will appear.
Just click on no thanks and the next page will appear.
Click on publish gig and your gig will be seen by thousands of people on
fiverr.The next page will appear.
You can promote you gig on facebook,twitter,google plus and so on.Then click
on finish and the page below will appear.
Congratulations to you for you have just set up a gig successfully. You can
see in the image above that your gig is now active. If you which to create
another one, click on the add a new gig button to upload another one. You can
upload up to 20 gigs per fiverr account so don’t hesitate to maximize your
opportunity.
BUYERS REQUEST
If you wish to see the number of people who are in need of information on
fiverr, click on the buyer request button and you will see thousands of people
on fiverr who need information. As at the time of writing this report, there are

• Step One: Research
The KEY to being successful on Fiverr is making a gig with
originality. This means you need to really be different from the rest of
the sellers here! Sure, you can offer something similar, but to really
stand out and make a difference, you need to be yourself and come up
with something new. How?
Look at Featured & Top Sellers for inspiration!
This does not mean copy their gigs or offer the same things they do.
What you need to do is get the motivation to be yourself and look
inside yourself for your unique skills. Can't come up with any? Start
writing down every little thing you do at work, school, and in your
free time and you just might realize there is a lot more to you than you
think. Seriously, not everyone can do everything you are able to do,
so market that stuff and go for it!
• Step Two: An Enchanted Title
Do not explain everything you are going to do in your title, it just
makes it cluttered and it will cut off the words strangely in a link. A
wonderful Top-Seller here made the best statement for this. "When a
buyer clicks on your gig, there should be no surprises." This means
you need to keep your title direct and to the point. There are only 80
characters in a gig title, and really should should stay below that
without difficulty. The words you use should be words a
buyer/customer would use to find something, so don't add all the extra
keywords, especially since you can put those in your description or
tags. Need a little encouragement, look around at the other gigs sold
in the same field as you are trying to sell, but do not copy that!
• Step Three: The Right Department (Categories)
You don't go to the kitchen appliances section of a department store to
look for shoes (at least, I hope not), so don't try to place your gig into
a category and subcategory which would not make sense from a
buyer's view. Your gig may fit into multiple categories, so it is up to
you to judge which one makes more sense and fits more of the details
of the offer. If you really cannot decide, perhaps separating what you
offer into multiple gigs based on each part of what you offer will
help. Do not make the same gig for two different categories! With
the current set-up of Fiverr, you can only offer a gig to a Buyer
Request if your gig and the buyer's request are the same category and
sub-category, so be aware of how your buyer would think and sort
your gig properly.
• Step Four: Showing Off Your Talent (Pictures)
The gig gallery is where you upload images to represent your
gig. Images must be in JPEG format, 682 pixels wide x 459 pixels
high and no more than 2MB each. Your image needs to be related
to the service you are offering, or better, show buyers who they’ll be
working with and by adding a photo of yourself. Your image cannot
be a stock image or something you do not own the copyrights to.
When a buyer is browsing the Fiverr search, they will only see an
image and the gig title, so try to not have any words in your image
and still make it eye catching and appealing.
• Step: Five: Your Full Offer (Description)
Your description needs to contain as much useful information as
possible in less than 1,200 characters, which is roughly 200 words.
Don't just restate your gig offer and your credentials, include a bulletpoint list of what exactly they will receive when they order. Be as
clear as possible on what you will and will not do so you run into less
issues in the future. I try to include the phrase, "Please contact me
before ordering so we can work out the details," so I have less
surprise gig orders.
• Step Six: You're It! (Tags)
Many people say the tags are key to getting sales, but I cannot show
you any hard evidence. You have five(5) tags available to you, which
can be multiple words or a single word. Again, think as your buyer
would think and add tags which are relevant to your gig and not
mentioned in the title. I often ask friends to review my gigs and give
me a few words that first come to their heads when they think of the
service I provide.
• Step Seven: Express Yourself (Video)
I believe the video is really what sells a gig in the end. I know I am
due to an update on my gig videos since the changes made to Fiverr.
It is true that the best sellers on Fiverr get up in front of a camera and
introduce the gig on their own, but this isn't absolutely required. I
highly recommend showing at least a picture of yourself, and I
definitely recommend using your own voice. If you have a computer,
you most likely have some free video editing software where you can
make a picture slide show with special effects and your own sounds,
or an actual video recording with all the options to clip and edit. I use
Windows Movie Maker, personally. Videos are submitted for review
by Fiverr before they are public, so don't panic if you do not see your
video right away. Patience is all part of the process.

2. 'high quality'
3. Length over 10 seconds but under 60 seconds
4. Must have some sort of soundtrack (either voice over or music
which you own the rights to use)
5. Must include "Exclusive on Fiverr" stated either vocally or in easyto-read text
6. Any images/footage used must be your own or you have the rights
to use
